Fascinating process and yes, from an artist's perspective a very unusual and beautiful one. I love the single, simple boat and harvester entering the scene. This was one of my two pod's in the Best of Minimalism group for November 10.

Xiapu is a coastal town where kelp or sea weed is harvested by hanging on the bamboo poles that are planted in the mud flats. These poles extend over a large pices of the shallow mud flats and create from afar abstract patterns.
